China launched a cargo railroad route Harbin – Hamburg – RBC

On Saturday, Harbin launched the first freight train on the new route linking China and Europe. This was reported by Xinhua citing general director of international logistics Harbin Europa Tu Xiaoyu.

According to Tu Xiaoyu, it is planned that the train within 15 days will pass through the Chinese city of Manzhouli, Russia, Poland and arrives in German city of Hamburg.

The new cargo route covers 9,820 kilometers. It is planned that the train in this area will be sent once a week. Thus, it opens another transcontinental trade route linking the EU, China, Japan, Russia and Korea.
