US banks have passed “stress test” to check the readiness of the economic crisis – FaceNews.ua

All of the major US banks held their annual “stress tests” that are held US Federal Reserve in order to determine how they will be able to cope with a new economic crisis.

The central bank said that banks have enough capital to keep lending during a severe global recession.

Thirty-one banks that participated in the tests , was necessary to offset the mark of more than 5% in terms of capital adequacy. However, some of the giants of Wall Street, such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley, according to this indicator were among the outsiders.

In the next round of tests Fed will determine whether these banks to maintain capital levels and -prezhnemu return money to shareholders.
