The company Moncrief Oil International has refused a claim to “Gazprom” to 1.37 billion dollars. It is reported by Bloomberg.

According to a US company, in 1997 its agents a contract was signed with “Zapsibgazprom” (daughter of “Gazprom”), which allowed the participation of Moncrief in the development of the field. Also, the company has tried to blame the “Gazprom” in the use of closed sales data, including the liquefaction of natural gas in the Gulf Coast.
The lawsuit was withdrawn as soon as the representatives of “Gazprom” demanded to punish Moncrief for forgery – the protection of “Gazprom” has confirmed via Google, which documents the construction of factories Moncrief did not exist until 2012.
