Retail Companies Association (ACORT) reported that the largest retail grocery chains in Russia frozen for two months the price of 20 socially important goods essentials.
«The initiative coordinated with the Federal Antimonopoly Service. It was supported by such members of the association as a “magnet”, X5 Retail Group (“Roundabout”, “Crossroads,” “Carousel”), “Auchan”, “Dixie”, Metro Cash & amp; Carry, “Tape,” “Okay,” “Globe”, “Bill”, “Zelgros”, “Vester”, “Platypus”. Each trading network to independently determine the composition of the basket of frozen prices, taking as a basis the list of socially important food products, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation №530 dated July 15, 2010, “- said in a statement the association.
It was reported earlier that ACORT sent to the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the draft agreement fixing prices for socially important products. In ACORT includes chain stores “Magnit» X5 Retail Group, «Auchan”, “Dixie», Metro Cash & amp; Carry, «Tape”, “Bill”, “ABC taste” and others.
