Russia imposed a duty on grain exports – Utro.Ru

Russia from February 1 introduces export duty on wheat at the rate of 15% plus 7.5 euro, but not less than EUR 35 per tonne. Its effect will last until mid-year.
This measure is intended to stabilize the situation on the domestic grain market, where prices in recent months has increased significantly. Following this began to rise the price of flour and bread. In January of this year, according to FAS, the price of bread in the country has increased by 15-20% compared to prices in January last year.
In January, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said that despite halt the growth in grain prices, the cost of bread in the country will continue to rise until March-April of this year.
