The head of Russia Vladimir Putin held a meeting on the risk of the crisis period.
Among the participants were Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, aide Andrei Belousov, head of the Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov, Minister of Economy Development of Russia Alexei Ulyukayev, head of the Central Nabiullina and board member Sergei Ignatiev. Also at the meeting was attended by former Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said.
Commenting on the results of the meeting, Kudrin said: “The meeting analyzed the possible risks in the first two years of the crisis, as well as the possibility of implementing reforms in the longer term. Ex-finance minister believes that these reforms are needed in Russia. Without them, the economy can not be sufficiently effective and productive.
Special attention is Putin’s proposal addressed to economic experts, the possibility of raising the retirement age. As explained Kudrin attending the meeting, experts, raises the question of a possible reform of the budget system. Separately considered possible reforms in public administration system that does not meet the standards of the current economy, the issues of economic regulation and functioning of the rule of law. At the end of the meeting, the officials discussed the existing burden on the business of an administrative nature.
