American company Moncrief Oil International withdrew its claim to “Gazprom” to 1.37 billion dollars. Lawyers holding not only tried to prove that they are entitled to a 40% stake in the South Russian gas field, but also that of the Russian energy company to use a private business data to their advantage.

The lawyer Moncrief Marshall Searcy officially asked state District Judge Melody Wilkinson withdraw the case as soon as the representatives of “Gazprom” demanded to punish the American Petroleum for forgery. Company lawyer said he did not know about the invalidity of the document as evidence. According to him, this was due to the fact that the employee made a mistake when working with papers.
As a result, a little investigation, conducted by Van Beckwith, it became clear that the documents on the construction of the plants did not exist until 2012 . To verify this it took no more than one search term at Google, said the lawyer. The real author of the image, is used in the report, was almost at the top of SERPs.
