The initiative of the Association of Regional Banks of Russia (ARBR) to include loans granted to individuals in the mortgage list, was not supported by the Bank of Russia. Letter to the corresponding waiver signed by the first deputy chairman of the Central Bank of Xenia Yudayeva directed ARBR management.
Offer bankers are as follows: for the Central Bank funds they would like to include as collateral loans issued at average rates and have no overdue more than 5% of the loan amount. Predpolgalos used for this purpose loans and collateralized mortgage. The Bank of Russia considered the proposal unacceptable due to the inability to provide proper identification of such collateral.
But it should be noted that the central bank made an alternative proposal – to transform existing portfolios in securities that have a rating from leading rating agencies and ensuring the right requirements for loans portfolio.
