10:03 Ukraine wants more money from the IMF – BFM.Ru

The Fund expects Kiev real reforms and adoption of the budget for 2015

Poroshenko held a telephone conversation with the Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde. Press Service of the President of Ukraine reports that discussed the situation in the country and the parties’ obligations under the IMF program stand-by.

Poroshenko assured Lagarde in a sequence of Ukraine in fulfilling obligations to the IMF and called to consider an increase in financial assistance for its countries. We are talking about more than $ 15 billion.

The head of the IMF welcomed the formation of a parliamentary coalition and the new government and expressed the hope that it will contribute to the proper implementation of the policy and the stabilization of the financial and economic situation in Ukraine.

During the negotiations were agreed upon schedule of further cooperation in the near future.

It was planned that the next tranche of the agreed loan will come to Ukraine in December. However, this did not happen. According to Ukrainian portal «Finance News 24″ stretched very long process to form a coalition. As a result, were not adopted the necessary laws and, most importantly, the state budget. Getting more than $ 15 billion in 2015 – is a real number, but no one will invest in a country that is not ready to change.
