Iran will supply to Russian food from January 2015. This was reported by a representative of the Rosselkhoznadzor Alexey Alekseenko.
He said that the Russian delegation paid a visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran and in the course of negotiations, the parties have agreed to questions about food quality and selection of suppliers.
“We are convinced that the products that the Iranians offered for export to Russia, are of very high quality, such as dairy products,” – said Alexeenko.
The range of supplied products is very wide – from fresh milk to solid and delicious cheeses. One of the first on the Russian counters can get famous Iranian shrimp “premium” class from the Persian Gulf and delicacy trout, reports Tass.
According to Alexeenko calculations “will not be carried out in US dollars.” Or payment will be in someone’s national currency, or transaction will take place through barter “on the basis of the supply of products, in which each of the parties interested”.
