The government of Belarus has introduced a moratorium on raising prices and tariffs in the consumer market. Also, the Council of Ministers instructed the heads of government agencies and organizations carrying out state regulation of consumer goods production to ensure the growth of supply of products to the retail network, reports Tass.

The decision was taken to prevent the growth of retail prices and ensure domestic consumer market wide range of products. In addition, given instructions to curb illegal imports into the republic.

The State Customs Committee, the Ministry of Internal Affairs “under the personal responsibility of their leaders entrusted with the implementation of control measures to curb illegal shipments of goods from outside the republic,” – says the decision of the government of Belarus.
