Rosstat: Annual inflation exceeded 15 percent – Read All

 According to new data released by the State Statistics Service, consumer price inflation in Russia from January 1, exceeded 4.8 percent.

At the same time, the annual inflation rate rose to 15.6 percent, which exceeds the plan for 2015, compiled by the Ministry, as well as the key rate of the Central Bank. Recall January 30, the Bank of Russia has set it at 15 percent.
 
 

According to Rosstat, from 3 to 9 February vegetables in the country on average rose 1.5 percent, while carrots and onions rose by 3.1 percent. Also significantly more expensive rice, sunflower oil and frozen fish.
 
 


 
 Editorial uznayvse.ru recalls that earlier Rosstat reported that in January, inflation has become a maximum of 16 years, reaching 3.9 percent. At the same time, Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukayev said that inflation will reach its peak in March. I should add that the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the past week has registered a record number of complaints about the high prices.
