Chapter MAYOR not sure that we need to cut spending budget – Information Agency CCI – Inform (Shamber of Commerce and Industry

Yesterday, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Alexei Ulyukayev attended a meeting on socio-economic development of Russia in 2015. Following the meeting, he briefed the press.

Answering the question of whether the budget revenues, according to the Ministry of Finance, decreased by 2.6 trillion rubles, he said: “Under the terms of the forecast budget revenues will be reduced by $ 2 trillion 340 billion rubles, mainly due to oil and gas revenues (approximately 2.2 trillion ), and a very small change in the non-oil. The balancing result – 2340000000000 ».

Do have to cut spending budget, was asked by journalists. According to Alexei Ulyukayev, it is not certain that they do need to cut, “because changes in income can mean either reducing costs or increasing the deficit – both possible».

Alexei Ulyukayev added that for the duration of the forecast (this is forecast for 2015) MER is based on the assumption that the sanctions regime is maintained in its current form.
