The European Commission has proposed Russia and Ukraine hold the next trilateral meeting on Gas October 21 in Berlin, according to RIA “Novosti» with reference to the EC.
According to the EC, the date and venue will be discussed separately with each of the parties to the
negotiations. 
October 6, Energy Minister Yuriy Prodan opined that the trilateral meeting on the gas issue may take place in a week.
