SIMFEROPIL, October 14. Today in the Crimea starts census, which will be held until October 25.
“The census will take place with a perfect coverage, and up to May 1, 2015 in power will be relevant and reliable information on all localities of new subjects of the federation” – said the Office of the Federal State Statistics Service of the Crimea.
The preliminary results of the census will be announced in late November.
The census, which takes place under the motto “Russia is important, each” will determine accurate data on the total population, ethno-linguistic composition, citizenship, education, information about the status of the family, economic and migratory activity, housing conditions.
The questionnaire includes 33 questions, of which the main – 25 Crimeans offer called age, ethnicity, education level, type of income, to talk about their living conditions.
All-Russian census conducted every ten years (1989, 2002, 2010). Crimea came from Ukraine and was reunited with Russia in March 2014, the latest Ukrainian census was conducted in 2001. According to her, in the Crimea, there were more than 2 million people, belonging to 130 nationalities.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the census in the Crimean Federal District necessary to develop the program of development of the peninsula. According to Putin, this applies to both economic and social spheres.
