CTC Media requests to withdraw the holding of a law limiting foreign investment in the media – BBC

Mediaholding CTC Media, which owns TV channels CTC, “Home”, “Pepper” and STS Love, asked for clarification from the State Duma of the possibility of withdrawal of public companies from the application of the law to limit the share of foreign capital in the Russian media. September 26, the State Duma adopted in the third reading bill establishing a maximum share of foreign shareholders in the Russian media at the level of 20%. On October bill was approved by the Federation Council, but not yet signed by the president.
