Sawicki said that Poland did not agree to compensation for losses incurred as a result of the Russian food embargo, the EC has allocated only 125 million euros. « It can not be that the Russian embargo covered by funds from the general reserve in the amount of 125 million euros. It is frivolous, unreasonable. It seems to me that European officials have not yet returned from vacation. We will fight on, “?? said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Poland.

A spokesman for the European Commission, Roger White said earlier that the EC will provide from the EU budget of 125 million euro assistance to producers of a number of perishable fruits and vegetables affected by the ban on imports to Russia. At the same time, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of Poland total expected loss for the Polish fruit and vegetable sector, related to the embargo, may reach 500 million euros.
