It seems to me that European officials have not yet returned from vacation. We will fight on, “- said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Poland. “The proposed compensation for us unprofitable,” – said Marek Sawicki.
A spokesman for the European Commission (EC), Roger White said earlier that the EC will provide from the EU budget of 125 million euro assistance to producers of a number of perishable fruits and vegetables affected from the import ban in Russia. At the same time, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of Poland total expected loss for the Polish fruit and vegetable sector, related to the embargo, may reach 500 million euros.
