During June-July this year in Belarus had left about 26 thousand Ukrainians, ITAR-TASS quoted the ambassador of Belarus to Ukraine Valentin Velichko.
According to the diplomat, about 1.5 thousand Ukrainians have permanent residence in Belarus. 500 people claim to refugee status. Until about three thousand people are expected to consider the temporary stay in the country.
Velichko said that the main problem is the employment of people who came from the Ukraine. The opportunity to get a permanent job or have the right to study only those who have a permanent residence permit, so the majority of Ukrainians who came to the territory of Belarus, is trying to get this document.
5 August the UN High Commissioner Refugee led evidence that, from Ukraine to Russia moved 168 thousand people.
