JSC “Tatneft” in international arbitration to sue the Ukraine $ 100 million of the $ 2.4 billion that are demanded as compensation for the seizure of the Kremenchug refinery.
Kiev probably refuse to execute the judgment. Political analysts believe that “Tatneft” must wait, because the company was seized by the group “Privat” Igor Kolomoisky, and he now plays too large a role in Ukrainian politics.
Paris International Commercial Arbitration invalidated the alienation of shares of the company “Ukrtatnafta “group” Privat “, controlled by Ukrainian businessman Igrorem Kolomoiskiy. The lawsuit was filed by the former owner of “Ukratatnafty” Russian company “Tatneft”, which required the payment of $ 2.4 billion. However, in this part of the arbitration claim upheld only in part, in the amount of $ 100 million, said “Gazeta.ru,”.
«Tatneft” has not commented on the situation.
