On June 1, the Russians will be able to abandon the imposed insurance services. According to the new rules established by the Bank of Russia, the customer is entitled to terminate the insurance contract within five working days from the date of its conclusion. If during this period the insured event occurred, the company is obliged to return the money in full.
The law previously prohibited to force customers to conclude voluntary insurance contract for the provision of any service. The new rules have been developed by the Bank of Russia at the end of 2015, but until the end of May insurance companies were given a reprieve so that they can rebuild their jobs, according to RIA Novosti.
