Iranian minister: the deal with Airbus will be signed next week – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, Jan 24 – RIA Novosti. Iranian Transport Minister Ahmad Akhund said that the agreement between the companies, Iran Air and Airbus for the purchase of 114 aircraft will be signed next week during the visit of President Hassan Rouhani in France , reported Agence France-Presse citing local media.

“We need 400 aircraft to fly long and medium-haul and 100 short-haul aircraft, “- said Akhundov. Only 150 of the more than 250 Iranian aircraft are in good condition, he said.

According to media reports, Rouhani will arrive in Paris on January 27.

Earlier it was reported that Iran has signed an agreement with the French aircraft manufacturer Airbus for the purchase of 114 aircraft.
