Greece transferred the IMF tranche of € 186,3 млн – RBC

Greece transferred the IMF tranche in the amount of € 186,3 million payment period which falls on Thursday, August 6th. This was reported by the IMF, reports Reuters.

On Thursday, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and French President Francois Hollande said the new aid package to Athens should be agreed by the end of August.

Greece is negotiating with the European Union and the International Monetary Fund to allocate a new loan of € 86 billion ($ 94 billion) to prevent financial collapse and economic collapse of the country.

Tsipras said that a new agreement will be agreed after 15 August. Hollande confirmed that a deal will be reached by the end of August.

In the middle of July, the European Union and Greece reached a preliminary agreement for the new Athens bailout package of € 86 billion. For the start of negotiations the authorities had to push through parliament a series of laws to toughen austerity measures.

According to a source Bloomberg, international lenders planned to agree the terms of financial assistance to Greece on 6 August. August 20th Athens will loan payment in the amount of the ECB’s € 3,2 млрд.

At the end of July, the IMF decided not to issue new loans to Greece until the country began to reform and the euro area does not agree on the financial aid package. According to the report of the meeting of the Foundation Board on 29 July Greece too high levels of debt, and Athens did not keep their previous promises of reform.
