Greece reached an agreement with creditors on a new aid package – RBC

Greece completed negotiations with international creditors on a new multi-billion dollar aid package and has reached an agreement with them on this issue. This writes Reuters referring to the statement by the Ministry of Finance of Greece.

According to him, it remains to agree on a few small issues.

Earlier, Athens reached an agreement with creditors on the draft baseline scenarios of the primary surplus the country’s budget for 2016 and 2017 within the framework of the provision of assistance. Agreement was also reached on the primary indicators of the budget until 2018.

The Greek authorities expect to sign the agreement until 18 August. This will enable the transfer of a new tranche of aid to the ECB payment of € 3,2 billion to August 20.

If the agreement will be signed in Athens will have to ask for help to provide a bridge loan.
