Announced July 30 extended US sanctions on citizens and companies of Russia and Ukraine enter into force on August 10, according to “RIA Novosti” with reference to the Bulletin Department of Foreign Assets Control of the US Treasury (OFAC). The document contains the names of foreign nationals whose property and related assets are blocked.
The black list has been expanded to 61 points “in connection with the events in Ukraine.” It hit employees of the concern “Kalashnikov” Russians Sergei and Andrei Bilyutin Omelchenko, who lives in London. Among the companies – Russian, Finnish and Cypriot. In particular, IMZ “Izhmash”, ports Yevpatoria, Feodosia, Kerch, Sevastopol, Yalta, the company “Kerch Sea Ferry», MAKO Holding (Donetsk, Ukraine).
As previously reported by “Kommersant” in the advanced black list includes 11 individuals and 15 entities, including relatives and business partners Gennady Timchenko and Boris Rotenberg. Boris Rotenberg’s son Roman and Finnish company Oy Langvik Capital Ltd. Several people “from the environment,” Gennady Timchenko: Kai paan, Usachev Oleg and Peter Kolbin. And a number of companies that supposedly related: Airfix Aviation Oy, IPP Oil Products (Cyprus), Set Petrochemicals Oy, Southport Management Services Limited, Southeast Trading Oy.
