The preliminary prices for alcohol were announced at a meeting with officials and representatives of Rosalkogolregulirovaniya. They are expected to amount to 80-90 rubles for wine and champagne for 115 rubles (0.75 liter bottle). These figures – not yet final, but most likely it is they will be approved, despite the opinion of some experts, the prices are too low.
So, the general director of the Center for Research of the federal and regional markets for alcohol Vadim Drobiz believes that the minimum the price of sparkling wine should not be less than 125 rubles, “quiet” – 115 rubles. A former member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Sultan Hamzaev proposed to increase the minimum price of 300 and 250 rubles, respectively, as too depressed prices could pave the way to market counterfeit. However, other experts argue that the numbers 90 and 115 rubles quite “meet the expectations of the consumer».
The entrepreneurs are asked to decide on the numbers to fall to the New Year to sell liquor at the new prices. However, according to participants of the meeting, adoption of the document regulating the cost of drinks, it may be delayed until the end of the year.
