Minsk on July 26. At the request of the Belarusian side the possibility of using hryvnia in trade between Ukraine and Belarus will be expanded. The relevant agreement was recorded in the minutes of the last July 24 in Chernihiv the 23rd session of the intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation, the press service of Ministerctva Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine.
“As a result of negotiations, we asked the NBU (National Bank of Ukraine. – BelaPAN .) with a number of suggestions that will help to simplify and speed up trade between our two countries, and have come to a positive decision, “- said the head Ministry Deputy Prime Minister Gennady Zubko.
In addition, in the near future will hold consultations on the resumption of mutual energy supplies and transit of the Ukrainian electric energy via Belarus. “Belarus is our strategic trading partner with a large common border. Therefore, all agreements (…) will then have a positive effect for decades,” – said Zubko.
