KIEV, June 16 – RIA Novosti. The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine will submit to Verkhovna Rada a bill on the indexation of salaries and pensions, as soon as this will be additional financial resources, said Tuesday the head of the department Natalia Yaresko.

Today, Ukraine is actually remains on the verge of default, the national currency for the year fell by more than three times. As a result, according to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, in January 2015 the average wage in the country amounted to 3455 hryvnia, or about $ 160. This is one of the lowest in Europe. Union representatives have repeatedly held a picket at the walls of the Cabinet of Ministers in Kiev and required all social payments indexed to inflation 2014-2015,.

“I also want to spend the indexing as soon as possible. Now in the law, which was adopted Rada, it will be made on December 1. If we will be able to accelerate it if there is an increase or decrease in cost of revenue, I gladly will file the Verkhovna Rada of the law to expedite indexing “- said Yaresko, speaking in Parliament on Tuesday.

At the same time, she noted that until those long as the government did not finalize negotiations on debt restructuring, 5% of GDP goes to paying interest rates on debt.

“That’s why we work so hard on this restructuring, as it is one of the possibilities to reduce the expenditure side of the government … is now reviewing all opportunities to accelerate the process of indexing, but not earlier than December 1 that’s for sure, “- added the Minister of Finance.

Earlier, Speaker Rada instructed the specialized committees to consult with the government on the possibility of indexation of salaries and pensions. On the same request to the Government earlier appealed and President Poroshenko.

The Board of Directors of the IMF in March approved a new program of financial assistance to Ukraine, Kiev provides for the allocation fund 17.5 billion dollars, and all international lenders in four years – $ 40 billion, including $ 15 billion due to debt restructuring. After that the Ukrainian authorities started negotiations with creditors on debt restructuring, but with Russia on this issue is not addressed.
