The Russians began to eat less meat – Social control

In the past year, the citizens of Russia reduced meat consumption by 3% this year – 6%

On average, Russians consume about 70 kilograms of meat per year. Such data are the head of the National Meat Association Sergey Yushin. To date, indicators of meat consumption decreased and most likely at the end of 2015 it will be possible to reduce meat consumption by 6%.

This information was obtained during the VTsIOM poll, according to which 2015 citizens of the country have refused to buy some goods because of rising prices. Moreover, to refuse any products became almost every fourth Russian. 90% of respondents in the survey complained about the strong rise in prices of products.
