Rescuers DNI in April raised more than 17 tons of debris Boeing MH17 – RIA Novosti

DONETSK, May 4 – RIA Novosti. self-proclaimed rescuers Donetsk People’s Republic collected more than 17 tons of debris MN17 Boeing that crashed over the Donbas in the summer of 2014, and has raised more than 2 million pieces of bodies of victims of the crash, Minister of Emergency Situations told reporters DNI Alex Kostrubitsky.

“From 16 to 28 April, the rescuers were collected 17.5 tons of fragments of the aircraft and 2.5 thousands of human remains. The work is finished”, – he said.

The Minister also added that searches were made in two main areas, and then land at the site of the crash has been reclaimed. “Right now, nothing like the catastrophe in these two places,” – said Kostrubitsky.

Flight MH17 Amsterdam – Kuala Lumpur crashed July 17 in Donetsk region of Ukraine. On board the ship were 298 people, all of them died. Kiev authorities have accused the militias in the crash, they said they did not have the means that would bring down an aircraft at a height. Earlier it was reported that a preliminary report on the causes of the crash will be made in June. The final conclusions of experts will announce in October.
