Presidents of Turkey and Turkmenistan discussed the delivery of Turkmen gas to Europe – Parliamentary newspaper

Turkey and Turkmenistan held talks on transporting Turkmen gas across the Caspian Sea to Europe. This was said yesterday the president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a joint press conference with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Ankara, reports Turkish news agency Anadolu.

According to Erdogan, Turkey is a key country for the transportation of gas from Central Asia to the European market. Currently the country imports of Turkmen gas through Iran – said the agency.

During the visit, the Turkmen president in Istanbul organized by the International Investment Forum, in which was attended by about business representatives from more than 40 countries, interested in the development of trade and economic relations with Turkmenistan.
