Appeals Commission FAS will work through video conferencing system – Express-News

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) is planned to create the Appeals Commission for consideration of applications for review of decisions made by the territorial departments of agencies.

The FAS has prepared draft amendments to the fourth antimonopoly package providing a mechanism for the work of the Commission.

According to the amendments, against the decision of Territorial Administration, FAS may be filed within one month after its adoption.

An appeal Appeals Commission shall be carried out within two months. Provide for the participation in the appeal, but only through video conferencing system and an application process.

Recall that the head of FAS Igor Artemyev said last fall about the expected effectiveness of the Appeals Commission.

According to him view, thanks to the departmental committee will be able to align practice in the country and within 1-1.5 months to consider even the most complex cases, whereas at present, the trial may last up to one year, or even more.

Currently, the project is being coordinated in the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Justice.
