The Russian government is planning to create a platform for interaction between federal and regional authorities with the public and business on their single-industry towns development. For these purposes in the social network “VKontakte” will be a special section.

This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov.

According to him, this topic has been discussed with the co-owner of the social network Ivan Tavrin. Selecting “VKontakte” Shuvalov explained the reluctance to spend special funds for the creation of a special information resource.

On the basis of single-industry towns Development Fund will be established project office. To work in this office will be trained professionals, which will be held at the Moscow School of Management “Skolkovo”. In all planned expenditures in the amount of up to two billion rubles.
