Poroshenko IMF removed the requirement to raise the retirement age in Ukraine – RIA Novosti

KIEV, January 24 – RIA Novosti. The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he the insistence of the IMF has agreed to remove the requirement to raise the retirement age in Ukraine, in the earlier insisted the fund to continue lending to Ukraine.

“I have asked us to remove the requirement to raise the retirement age and given the difficult situation in which turned out to Ukraine we found these compromises, we went to the meeting, “- Poroshenko said in an interview to Ukrainian TV channels Sunday on the outcome of the meeting with the head of the IMF Christine Lagarde in Davos.
