Iran has canceled a conference on oil in London due to visa problems – BBC

Iranian officials canceled a conference on work with foreign investors in the oil and gas sector due to problems in obtaining visas, reports Reuters , with reference to the deputy head of the national oil company NIOC Ali Cadore.

«The London conference is canceled for us because the British Embassy in Tehran can not issue visas to representatives of Iranian companies,” – he said .

According to Cadore, delegates will get visas through another country. He also said that to participate in tenders for oil contracts in May will be invited foreign companies.
