The Russians are able to “live without frills” 23 thousand rubles a month – VTsIOM – Baikal Finance

According to the estimates of the average Russian, to life in a month should be enough for about 23 thousand rubles (22,755 rubles). Residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg, set the bar significantly higher (25,153 rubles) than the villagers (17,414 rubles).

Poor, in the opinion of our fellow citizens are families with an average income per person 11 173 rubles. Moscow and St. Petersburg, residents of other “millionaire”, the poverty threshold is the amount of 12 491 and 13 045 rubles, while the residents of small towns and villages – 10 457 and 10 050 rubles. Those who, in their words, “hardly make ends meet” and sometimes do not have the means to buy food, find below the poverty line 13 517 RUR / month. Those who are financially better off tend to understate the bar – up to 10 258 rubles.

For the record: the Russian state considers poor people with incomes below the subsistence level, which in 2015 is estimated at 9.7 thousand rubles per month (320 rubles per day).

The initiative Russian opinion polls were conducted 4-5, 11-12 July 2015 were interviewed (at each poll) 1,600 people in 130 settlements in 46 regions and republics of Russia.
