The agreement with the creditors submitted to the Parliament of Greece – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, August 12 – RIA Novosti. The agreement on repayment of debts between Greece and its creditors submitted to Parliament for ratification, according to Agence France-Presse, citing an official statement by Parliament.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras addressed to the President of Parliament with a request for a vote in the coming Thursday.

On Tuesday, after 22 hours of talks between the Ministers of Finance and Economy of Greece with the heads of missions of the creditors, it was announced that an agreement on the third program of aid to Greece. It is expected that the vote on the new program in the Greek Parliament may pass on Thursday. The Greek government says it will not need new austerity measures and the agreement provides opportunities for the development of the economy, however, caught in the disposal of journalists preliminary drafts of the agreement shows that Parliament offered to vote for the continuation of the previous policy.
