Source: Russia has not yet received from the Turkish draft agreement on “Turkish Stream” – Russian news agency TASS

MOSCOW, August 19. / TASS /. Russia has not yet received from the Turkish draft agreement on “Turkish Stream”. This Tass said a source close to the negotiations.

“It is not received,” – he said.

Earlier, the Acting Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said that the Ministry of Energy of Turkey sent the Russian draft agreement on “Turkish Stream” and waits for the answer.

As reported by Tass, the Russian Federation has sent Turkey’s two proposals for the Intergovernmental Agreement on the “Turkish Stream” – one string and four-wire.

At the end of July, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that Russia is ready to sign an intergovernmental agreement on a string, “the Turkish stream” within a week or two. At the same time it was reported that an intergovernmental agreement on the second- fourth thread “Turkish Stream”, which are expected to bring gas to EU countries, will be allocated in a separate document.

“Gazprom” and Turkish company Botas signed a memorandum of understanding on construction of a gas pipeline from Russia to Turkey across the Black Sea last December. Construction of the pipeline will be engaged in the company “Gazprom Russian.” The decision to implement the project “Turkish Stream” was made during the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ankara on December 1, 2014 simultaneously with the rejection of the construction of the pipeline “South Stream” to the countries of South and Central Europe due to the unconstructive policy of the EU.
