Odessa Leonard Blavatnik became the richest man in the UK – TVNZ

This year, in the UK there was no man richer than American businessman of Soviet origin Leonard Blavatnik.

According to the newspaper The Sunday Times, the state of 57-year-old owner of a record company Warner Music and oil tycoon is estimated at 13 17 billion pounds, and it was he who led the list of British moneybags.

Leonard Blavatnik was born in Odessa, but in 1978 fled from the Soviet Union and emigrated to America.
