"Baltika" closes two plants in Krasnoyarsk and Chelyabinsk – TVNZ

The crisis reached St. Petersburg “Baltika”. She is forced to close two of its plants in Chelyabinsk and Krasnoyarsk.

The company claim that the beer market in Russia recently lived not fun. Since 2008, it declined by more than 30%.

– Factories had to close due to falling beer market associated with the difficult macroeconomic environment and unbalanced regulation and taxation industry in Russia, – told the press service of the company .

At the two factories were working 766 persons. Some of them are now forced to move to other regions, will have to part with the other. According to estimates of the company laid off 560 people will get. They pay an impressive compensation totaling more than 300 million rubles.

– This solution – a heavy blow for employees. We expect that the company will fulfill all obligations to employees, – said the chairman of the Council of the personnel branch of “Baltika-Chelyabinsk” Vladisla Erkin.
