Residents of Switzerland, took part in a referendum on June 5 voted against the introduction of income security for the citizens who presumably could reach nearly $ 2.5 thousand.
According to the final results of the vote, which refers to bi-bi-si, almost 77% took part in the referendum voted against the introduction of guaranteed income in Switzerland. The initiative was supported by only 23% of voters. Switzerland was the first country which passed a similar referendum.
Earlier, that the majority of the Swiss, who came to the polls, voted against the guaranteed income, showed data exit polls.

A referendum on the question of guaranteed basic income held in Switzerland on 5 June. This initiative involves the unconditional monthly fee to be provided citizen of the country, regardless of whether it works or not.
The exact amount of payments in question submitted to the referendum, was not mentioned. However, supporters of the initiatives proposed to allocate a monthly basis 2500 Swiss francs ($ 2555) for adults and 625 francs ($ 630) – for children.
