The head of LUKoil announced plans to deliver Iranian oil to its refineries – RBC

President of oil company LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov announced plans to sign a long-term contract for the supply of Iranian oil to refineries of the company, reports TASS.

Alekperov found it difficult to specify the possible volume of oil supplies to LUKOIL refineries, due to the fact that Iran’s requirements are not yet known.. However, he pointed out that before the introduction of sanctions against Iran has supplied up to two million tons of oil a year.

LUKOIL became the first Russian company with which the Iranian government signed the contract after the lifting of sanctions in January 2016..
