The suspect in the theft of 7 million rubles, the former head of FAS Kamchatka amnestied – BBC

The criminal case against the former head of the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Kamchatka terminated in connection with amnesty, according to press service SC SC in the region.

According to investigators, in 2012 Petrov signed a contract with a commercial organization to renovate the facade of the building services in the amount of 6 million rubles.
After signing the acts of acceptance of the payment budget was transferred to 5 million rubles without full implementation of the work by the contractor.

Actions former head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service has also led to the development of the budget in the amount of 2 million rubles.

During the investigation, the suspect asked for dismissal of the case due to the amnesty that was granted by the investigating authorities .
