Minister of Tourism of Crimea dismissed for poor preparation for the season – BBC Russian

The deputies of the State Council of Crimea dismissed the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic Elena Yurchenko recognizing the work of departments in preparation for tourist season 2015 unsatisfactory.

The head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov said that the change of Minister of Tourism Ministry is required to give “new impetus”.

The new head of department appointed Sergei Strelbitsky, previously held the post of Adviser Head of the tourism industry of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov.

Since the end of last year, many Russians, faced with a sharp weakening of the ruble forced to abandon plans to rest abroad. Therefore, tour operators are trying to promote a maximum of Crimea and the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory.
