The Ministry of Health has identified more than 2 million cases of illegal price increases on medicines – a REGNUM
Rising prices for some drugs was 29 percent
Despite the fact that the Russian Ministry of Health received numerous complaints about the increase in drug prices, a substantial rise in price of medicines that are on the list of important and necessary, the Office is not found. This was reported by Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova in an interview with TV channel “Russia-24».
«State regulation of prices as part of the list of essential drugs does play a very positive role,” – said Skvortsov. According to her, in the VED list includes 608 names of medicines. “It’s more than 20 thousand a variety of forms,” - said the minister.
However, drugs are not included in this list, recorded significant growth prices. In some cases, the jump was 29 percent. In the first quarter of this year, the Prosecutor General and the Ministry of Health has identified more than two thousand violations in the sale of drugs. As explained Skvortsova, all of these disorders are associated with excess of maximum retail prices of drugs.
According to the Minister, through the actions of authorities, violations promptly removed. As early as one week after inspections drug prices are in line with the law.
