VTB advanced founder and principal owner of the retail chain “Magnit” Sergey Galitsky in the list of candidates to the Supervisory Board, reported in the media Bank. It is noted that Mr. Galicki could join the supervisory board of VTB as an independent member.

The current members of the supervisory board are VTB deputy chairman Vladimir Chistyuhin, the first deputy head of the State Duma, the former deputy chairman of VEB Mikhail Kopeikin, the rector of the New Economic School (NES), Simeon Djankov, Sergei Dubinin (chairman), Managing Director of Nord Stream AG Matthias Warnig, Yves-Thibault de Silguy, President – Chairman of the Board Andrey Kostin, President of St. Petersburg State University Nikolai Kropachev Executive Director of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan Shahmar Arif oglu Movsumov, Deputy Finance Minister of Russia Alexei Moiseyev, a representative of the minority shareholders Elena Popova.
