At yesterday’s meeting dedicated to the construction, the vice-premier Igor Shuvalov said that the crisis in Russia has ended. This is confirmed by economic indicators.
According to Rosstat, the decline in GDP in the first quarter was lower than the preliminary calculations, gross domestic product fell by 1.9%. This is three tenths of a point less than the previous forecast Economic Development. The economy is no longer in a state of crisis, said Igor Shuvalov.
- Constant appeals to the crisis is no longer appropriate. It is necessary to move on to the agenda of development, – he said.
He added that the talk about full recovery of the economy is still too early.
