“Alfa-Bank” withdrew the bankruptcy petition UTair – BBC News

“Alfa-Bank” applied to the Arbitration Court of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra 10 applications for renunciation of the stated requirements for the entry into bankruptcy proceedings airline UTair.

According to Tass, considered on its merits, they will be part of the court hearing scheduled for 14 May. Representatives of the “Alpha-bank” declined to comment.

“Alfa-Bank” entered into bankruptcy proceedings UTair in mid-February, in turn submitted nine applications – 25.5 million dollars, 12.9 million dollars, 8.75 million dollars, 1.2 million dollars, 11.8 million dollars, 150 thousand dollars, $ 3.5 million, $ 2 million and 23 million rubles. The bank also asked the court to approve the airline interim manager – Vladimir Grigoriev, who is a member of the Tyumen branch of the self-regulatory organization – NP “Siberian Guild crisis managers”.

13 and 14 April, “Alfa-Bank” has filed two lawsuits on bankruptcy subsidiary carrier – “UTair-Leasing”. However, the Arbitration Court of the Tyumen region returned them to the claimant in connection with the fact that there were irregularities in the submission.

UTair Group is among the three leaders of the Russian air transport market. More than 60 percent of the shares owned by NPF UTair “Surgutneftegaz”, the other – subsidiaries and minority shareholders.
