July 8, Minsk / Correspondent. BELTA /. Belarus January-May in 2016 reduced the import of goods and services compared with the same period last year by 11.2% to $ 11.5 billion. This is evidenced by statistics published on the website of the National Bank, BelTA reported.

The foreign trade turnover of goods and services reached the level of $ 22.8 billion for the first five months, 13.9% less than in the same period last year. The exports amounted to $ 11.2 billion (down 16.5%), import – $ 11.5 billion (11.2% decrease). Negative balance of foreign trade in goods and services totaled $ 332.9 million.
