Central Bank increased the official rate of the dollar and the euro to 67 and 84 rubles – Russian newspaper

The Central Bank set the official exchange rates of the dollar and the euro on Thursday, December 18th. The US currency has risen by 6.6 rubles – up to 67.78 rubles. The euro gained 8.4 ruble, reaching 84.58 rubles. Dual currency basket value increased by 7.4 rubles to 75.34 rubles.

At the tender both foreign currencies on Wednesday continued to rise in price, although not as fast as the day before. According to the Moscow Stock Exchange at 13:45 MSK, the dollar was worth 68.1 rubles, euro – 84.8 rubles.

The Ministry of Finance, recall, today announced that the proceeds for the sale on the market of its foreign currency balances – funds in a single account of the federal budget in the Federal Treasury in the amount of $ 7 billion.
